HEALTHY HOME INSPECTIONS – WHAT ARE THE HEALTHY HOMES STANDARDS?
In February 2019 the Government announced the Healthy Homes Standards. These standards introduce specific and minimum standards for heating, insulation, ventilation, moisture and drainage, and draught stopping in rental properties. The standards are now part of the Residential Tenancies (Healthy Homes Standards) Regulations 2019, which became law on 1 July 2019.
HOW TO GET AN INSPECTION AND COMPLIANCE
Our team will check the five key compliance requirements for Healthy Homes Standards (insulation, ventilation, heating, draught stopping, and moisture control) and provide you with a full audit report.
If the property does not comply, we will advise you on the most cost-effective solution to bring it up to code. Once this is done we provide you with a compliance certificate.
